Freebie Friday 9/7

Hello everyone! It's Freebie Friday.. and I've got our Freebie up before 12! Go me!

Today's Tutorial is a QUICK one.. I had to reign myself in and not ramble.. I tend to do that..I'm going to show you a quick way to mimic fill flash in Photoshop. We're going to start using blend modes, which are REALLY important, so hopefully you'll get a taste of what they can do, and I hope to do more on them later. So.. here's your tutorial

Go Here to view in Full Screen

After viewing the tutorial, you can download an action (doing the same thing I just showed in the tutorial) Here:

Snag it before it's Gone!

Remember, the freebie will only be up this week, so snag it while you can.

Also, remember to leave me a comment, hello, suggestion, whatever in the comments and you may win your choice of action sets (Winner will be posted on Monday, so check back then!)

Also, Some time next week I'll be announcing a couple things regarding PS Elements actions, so if you're an elements user be sure to check back then to see what's up! But remember, even if you're not using CS2 you can still use most of the tips/steps in the tutorials.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Fantastic, Kylie, thank you! I don't own an external flash (yet), so no fill flash in real life for me, this will be soooo useful!

The action I won last week from you arrived safely, I have been meaning to e-mail you to let you know that, but wanted to have used it first so that I could let you know how it had gone. Alas, I haven't had a moment to sit down and open Photoshop, so I'll try and do it over the weekend.

Thank you once again for sharing these with us.

Hi,

Thank you for making a great action. But there's more to it. It's quite multi- functional.

You can use as:

A teeth whitener or
Eye white brightener

Just try it. Great action thank you

Hi Kylie, what a lucky thing that I happened to come across your blog. I knew you, well just barely, back on ezboards. In fact you along with a few others, such as Jinky and Theresa are the ones that inspired me to get into photography, so thank you.

Thanks so much for the tut too, I'm adding this page to faves, think I'll be coming back here alot more often. You have much to teach and I have much to learn, lol.

Thanks doll.

Kylie - you are the max! thanks so much for taking time out of your day to teach us via tutorials. It's such a wonderful learning tool & I'm learning tons (since I'm not a reader & hate to look for answers in books). Visual learning is wonderful. Can't wait to hear your PSE announcement since that is what I use. Anxious to get some actions for PSE5!
